Rachel Walker is devoted to God. She prays every day, attends Calvary
Christian Church with her family, helps care for her five younger
siblings, dresses modestly, and prepares herself to be a wife and mother
who serves the Lord with joy. But Rachel is curious about the world her
family has turned away from, and increasingly finds that neither the
church nor her homeschool education has the answers she craves. Rachel
has always found solace in her beliefs, but now she can’t shake the
feeling that her devotion might destroy her soul.

will, indeed, get her through to the dawn that no others have seen, but
with a catch . . . she’s falling in love with the very boy who killed
her dearest friend.
She discovers that the murderous boy-king is not all that he seems and neither are the deaths of so many girls. Shazi is determined to uncover the reason for the murders and to break the cycle once and for all.

Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and dramatic ways . . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as someone else—an even more unpredictable new force in her life. The early years are Noah's story to tell. The later years are Jude's. What the twins don't realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.
